Don’t get the wrong idea-Bruce Willis’ wife says he’s still enjoying life, even though he’s been dealing with frontotemporal dementia for over a year.
Emma Heming Willis spoke out recently a “clickbait” article that suggested Bruce, now 68, is living without joy. She quickly clarified that this is far from true. In an Instagram video shared on March 3, Emma talked about the importance of challenging the belief that life ends with a neurocognitive disease diagnosis. She urged people not to assume that there’s nothing left after such news.
In February 2023, Bruce’s family-including his wife Emma, Their daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, along with his ex-wife Demi Moore and their children, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah-shared that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Nearly a year before that, they had shared that he was also battling aphasia, a condition that affects his ability to communicate, which led him to retire from acting.
Emma spoke candidly about how Bruce’s health struggles have affected him and their family in her Instagram post. While there is no denying that there has been grief and sadness, she shared that this new chapter is overflowing with love, deeper connections, and unexpected moments of joy and happiness. Emma highlighted that this is what their family’s journey looks like right now.
