‘My head is spinning!’ Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell in hysterics at prospect of pant-wearing Tonikaku performing for the Royal Family

Simon Cowell was in hysterics during the last semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent on Friday at the prospect of pant-wearing comedy act Tonikaku performing for the Royal Family.

In addition to winning a £250,000 cash prize this year, the person who comes out on top also gets the opportunity to perform at the upcoming Royal Variety Performance.

And, after Tonikaku took to the stage, an astonished Simon was unable to contain his laughter at the prospect dancing in his pants in front of King Charles.

Fan favourite Tonikaku entertained viewers by wearing nothing but a pair of Y-fronts during his act, striking various poses on-stage to make it look as if the underwear had vanished and as if he was, in fact, naked.

Giving his feedback after Tonikaku’s performance, Simon said: ‘If you think of all the acts we’ve had on tonight, it’s like, ‘My God! My head is spinning’. What’s making me laugh so much is that the winner of this show gets to perform in front of the royal family.’

Simon could be hear guffawing while making his remarks, much to the delight of Tonikaku.

However, Tonikaku sadly did not make it through to Sunday’s final of this year’s series, finishing in third place during Friday’s semi-final.

But there is still a chance he could find a place in the final as the judges are yet to pick their wildcard act to shoot through to Sunday’s final.

While some viewers praised Tonikaku for his efforts, it seems many were just as baffled as Simon.

Taking to Twitter, one show fan wrote: ‘If the pants guy comes back as a wild card then I’m done.’

Someone else shared: ‘The pants guy on #bgt is simultaneously the best and worst thing I’ve ever seen.’

Another person remarked: ‘Someone telling me I don’t have taste for not liking the pants guy who is the worst act of the whole season. Please!!! At least I look out for real talent and back it all the way.’

While someone else shared: ‘How can a guy in pants be in the final 3, he just wasn’t funny!’

‘Hahaha all those people worked so hard to lose to a guy in pants,’ laughed another viewer.
