Despite her glamorous career in fashion, sheβs come to terms with the end of her modeling days, especially after facing financial struggles during the pandemic.
In a recent interview on the *Third Act* podcast, Helvin reflected on her past, including a piece of advice from model Jerry Hall, who urged her to ask her lovers for jewelry.
βI wasnβt interested in jewelry, but Jerry never understood that. She loved her diamonds. Now I realize she was much smarter than me,β Helvin admitted.
Although sheβs had financial difficulties, Helvin is determined to support herself and has no intention of asking her ex-husband, renowned photographer David Bailey, for help. βI sincerely donβt understand why people are shocked when I say I could start working at a supermarket,β she said.
