Elon Musk’s latest appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience has stirred significant attention—especially among fans of singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
During the interview, Musk criticized Lopez for participating in a Las Vegas campaign rally supporting Vice President Kamala Harris. Known for his outspoken support of Donald Trump, Musk didn’t hold back, even referencing Lopez’s former relationship with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Diddy is currently facing serious legal trouble, including charges of trafficking and racketeering, and remains in federal custody in Brooklyn, New York. His relationship with Lopez dates back to the late 1990s, when they were one of Hollywood’s most high-profile couples before splitting in 2001.
Musk’s comments questioned Lopez’s credibility and stirred backlash among listeners. “She was with Diddy for years, and now she’s publicly against Trump?” Musk said. “But when has she ever acknowledged Diddy’s history? It raises questions about how genuine her political stance really is.”
He went on to criticize the broader entertainment industry. “People had to know what Diddy was involved in. It was ignored for too long,” Musk added. “Why wasn’t anyone holding him accountable before?”
Lopez, for her part, has openly opposed Trump’s rhetoric, especially after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe—known for supporting Trump—made controversial remarks about Puerto Rico, calling it “a floating island of garbage.” Lopez responded strongly at the time. “It’s okay to feel angry,” she said in October 2024. “We can’t stay silent—our voices and our votes matter.”
As of now, Lopez has remained silent on the accusations surrounding Diddy.
Joe Rogan also chimed in during the podcast, commenting on how many in Hollywood once praised Diddy but now stand with political figures like Harris. “It’s strange how those who celebrated his stardom are now vocal about his alleged misdeeds,” Rogan remarked. “There was always something darker beneath the surface.”
