Not only is Kim Kardashian considering taking legal action against Ye for custody of their children, but she’ll be participating in a legal case of her own. It’s been confirmed that the 44-year-old entrepreneur will take the stand to testify during the trial over her robbery experience in Paris in 2016.
TMZ reported this week that the mother of four will head to France when the trial begins in May. She previously shared a testimony with the judge presiding over the case, but now she will get the opportunity to do so in front of a
Kardashian was robbed at the No Address Hotel after a night out on the town with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, plus her bodyguard Pascal Duvier. The robbers stole $40 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million ring gifted to her by her then-husband Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. “I was Snapchatting that I was home and that everyone was going out,” she said during a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “So I think they knew Pascal was out with Kourtney and that I was there by myself.”

Kim K gave her sisters specific details about how the night unfolded and her mindset. “Through the door, I saw two people arrive, plus the night man who was tied up,” she said, stating how she was wearing a robe and was naked underneath when they made contact with her and tied her up.
“They dragged me out onto the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs. I was like; ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision.’ Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? […] if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I’m f**ked. There’s no way out.”
French officials conducted an investigation, and though there were only five masked men on the scene, the police initially arrested 17 suspects. One of them was Gary M., who was the younger brother of Kardashian’s Parisian chauffeur.
