Fourteen-year-old Jacob Norton from Colchester, Essex managed to astonish all the judges with his audition for The Voice: UK.

Despite his towering stature, Jacob’s singing voice has left everyone astounded. For his audition, Jacob decided to perform the song “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” a timeless classic by Fred Astaire. Jacob’s remarkably deep voice made the decades-old song a perfect choice, as he sounded much older than his actual age.

The coaches, Pixie Lott, Will.i.am, and Danny Jones, were taken aback by the unexpected, powerful voice that resonated from behind them. They were under the impression that someone was playing a practical joke on them. Out of sheer curiosity, all three judges eagerly turned their chairs to catch a glimpse of the owner of this extraordinary voice. The audience erupted in enthusiastic applause, rising from their seats and joining in with Jacob’s captivating performance.

Jacob was filled with excitement when the judges turned for him, yet he maintained his professional composure to flawlessly complete his song. As the song reaches its midpoint, the tempo picks up and Jacob takes full advantage of the stage to engage with the audience. It was evident that both the audience and judges were thoroughly entertained by his performance.

After his audition concludes, Jacob’s demeanor quickly shifts from professional to childlike excitement. He can’t help but jump up and down and cheer like a fourteen-year-old. The judges were thoroughly impressed by his performance and praised him with outstanding reviews.

Pixie exclaimed, “Your voice has such a beautiful depth. Wow, I’m at a loss for words! I’ve never heard anything quite like it before.”

Danny exclaimed, “We’re all at a loss for words right now, because that voice is absolutely incredible. I think it’s fantastic, man.”

After carefully considering all three judges, Jacob ultimately chooses to join Team Danny. During the interview, Jacob openly acknowledged feeling incredibly anxious. “But when I started singing, I just got into it; I was just hoping at least one person would turn. I was worried I wasn’t going to get anyone, but when I got three turns, it was such a shock.”
